The Big T is named after the Mighty Tongariro River on the Central Plateau of the North Island of New Zealand, where it has proven to be very effective in low clear conditions. This generic green caddis pattern has earned its place in the fly box. Tied on a Tiemco TMC2457 fly hook which is a super strong curved nymph hook with a wide gape. Curved wide gape hooks give you a better hook set. Weighted with a black Tungsten bead.
