This is the gold tungsten beaded variation of the classic New Zealand Hare & Copper. Hares fur blended with a small amount of copper flash. I can’t claim this one, it was first shown to me by legendary Poronui guide Ben Hall. Ben no longer guides but chooses to fly helicopters instead, something which he is very good at. He regularly transports fishing clients and I around and he relives his old guiding days vicariously through us.

Tied on a Tiemco TMC2457 super strong curved nymph hook with a wide gape. Curved wide gape hooks give you a better hook set. The Hare & Copper Nymph is weighted with a Gold tungsten bead.
