BWCflies Cherie’s Surface Popper

The next instalment to our surface popper range is Cherie’s Purple Popper. I watched her fish this fly recently with some solid results around standing reeds and the bases of bankside tree trunks. Either a quick pop with rapid fire strips or a sit and pause retrieve, it had Bream and EP very interested. At rest, the pattern basically sits vertically in the water.

The fly is tied on Ahrex NS122, with the Rainy’s Mini Me’s Pops in the small size.
