Dan’s Whiting Worm Fly

A Whiting fly pattern that was thought out and designed by Dan Ivanoff of Flyworld Flyfishing fame.

Tungsten dumbbells ensure the fly contacts the sandy flats base.

Tied on Gamakatsu C12 fly tying hooks, size 10

With Dan’s permission, his pattern has been tied by us to add in to the Whiting Fly range for the Shop.

Fish the fly with a floating line , ensuring the fly creates ‘sand’ or ‘silt’ puffs as the tungsten dumbbells’ gauge through the base. A series of short sharp strips, quick in succession,  no longer than 6inch is required to get the best response.
