6 Weight SW

The Recon 9-Weight 9′ 4-Piece Fly Rod is perhaps the most versatile saltwater rod configuration there is. In the Northeast, it is the standard for the four major fly-rod species, striped bass, bonito, false albacore, and bluefish, all of which range the Northeast Coast. The Recon 909-4 offers the strength to handle all of these fish and to power a line through often tough and windy conditions. Go further south, and it is perfect for snook, permit, bull reds, and even juvenile tarpon. In freshwater, this rod is a good bet for lunker bass in the weeds, and carp as well.
