Spoon Fly

The Spoon Fly is a pattern that is sits left of being a common fly seen here in Australian fly boxes.

It’s vastly different from the normal fur and feather, thou when the fish have been pressured or seen most offerings, the Spoon fly can unlock a new technique to catching some Bass or Estuary Perch.

We do fish these on a 9 ft leader, with a loop knot.

As they are unweighted, the cast can be punched right up in to the structure and wobbled back. Have faith that the structure guard will get the fly through most obstacles.
