Refunds , Returns and Exchanges

For products we stock, a 365 day returns service is in place.

Be confident that your purchase is covered by the current Australian Consumer Law. We are not required to refund an item for change of mind.

Thou, you can choose a refund or exchange if the item has a major issue. This is when the item has an issue that would have stopped you from purchasing it, if you had known about it, the product is unsafe, the product is significantly different from the sample image or description, doesn’t do what we said it would and can’t be easily repaired to make good.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. Your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to the original method of payment, processed through our system within 1 day.

Exchanges and Returns

To be eligible for Exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Along with being presented in the original packaging, with any appropriate labels or tags attached and fit for re sale.

Exchanges of new product are valid for 365 days from the date of purchase which can be made in store at Tuggerah or can be returned to us via Mail. The original purchase receipt must be provided.

Once the returned goods are received and inspected, a store voucher will be issued to the value of the goods to use to complete an online purchase of the new product required.

Return postage fees for Exchanges are incurred by the customer.

It is recommended that returned items are shipped via a trackable shipping service with signature on delivery and if returning items over $100, we would strongly recommend purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Manufacture Warranty Claims

Every product that we sell is covered by the Australian Consumer Law. If you experience an issue with any product, the most efficient course of action is to email us with the product details, explanation of the issue and clear photographs. The supplied information will expedite the process of getting you back on the water sooner rather than later with clear communications with our Suppliers to resolve the issue. In Australia, Manufacturers cover their products for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. Please retain your records as they will be called upon to validate your purchase.

Wear and Tear damage of products is not deemed as a manufacturing defect and where possible will need to be assessed for a repair. Costs associated with Shipping are incurred by the Customer.

Waders, Boots and Apparel

We do our best to retain up to date information regarding sizes from our various suppliers, thou nothing beats trying on any sized garment for best fit either in our store or in your own home.  Products are covered by our exchange program and processes. Please be sure to promptly try on your new gear for best fit.

If you require an exchange of sizes for wading boots, waders or apparel garments, please reach out.  Products must be in as new condition and only tried on indoors. Original tags must be in place.

Fly Rods

Let’s face it, fly rods suffer breakages in all kinds of ways and believe us, we have heard just about everything.

All of the fly rod brands that we carry, offer a replacement section service for rods purchased within Australia. Each Brand varies in their approach and information required. The most efficient method is to email us with all of your fly rod details including Brand, Model, Weight, Length and Pieces. Along with clear photos of the rod label and the rod sections lined up so that the section/s required can be clearly identified. We will take it from there and advise of any further action required.

Fees for sections vary with each supplier which can be advised at the time. Fees are charged regardless of how the fly rod was broken, be it casting, fighting fish or reversed over it in the ute. There are no exceptions to fees being charged for breakages.

In some cases, your fly rod may be required to be returned to the Supplier for repair or parts fitting, in which the cost of shipping is incurred by the Customer.

Exclusions

Special order products or custom-made products are excluded from returns or exchanges.

Products purchased from the SALE pages, are reduced in price or classed as Discontinued or Special Buy are not eligible for refunds. Products of this nature are eligible for exchange or Store Voucher only.
